Now in its second vintage, the organic Ceretto 2019 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is just phenomenal. The wine balances power, texture and bouquet with a pretty set of aromas that recall redcurrant, plump cherry, rusty nail and earthy iris root. Wines from Castiglione Falletto always have a very etched or focused quality, and I think you will discover that here.

The 2019 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is all class. It emerges from a small sliver of land in Rocche di Castiglione proper, which is just below the Ceretto family's Bricco Rocche property. Elegant and nuanced, the 2019 is a gorgeous, aromatic Barolo that captures all the finesse of this site. Silky tannins give weightless, intense Barolo tons of sheer appeal, even in the early going.
