The Ingrid Groiss Grüner Veltliner offers a delightful flavor profile. It boasts a refreshing, dry, and crisp character with notes of freshly diced yellow apples, hand-picked pears, and subtle hints of lemon. The wine also exhibits a lively minerality, complemented by a subtle touch of white pepper. What's more, it's worth noting that this wine is certified organic.
This Grüner Veltliner from Ingrid Groiss is a perfect companion for sushi enthusiasts, as it harmonizes beautifully with fresh seafood dishes and even those with a hint of spiciness. And if Austrian schnitzel isn't on your dining agenda, fear not, as Ingrid's Grüner pairs wonderfully with fried chicken as well!
Daniel Hernandez-Brun for K&D: 92 Points
This is delicious and refreshing Gruner-Veltliner. It is a pale straw in color, with a youthful green hue. The bouquet is nicely delineated, with lychee, lemongrass, apricot, clementine, and white lily all wafting from the glass. On the palate, this is midweight and rounded, with pleasant peach and citrus notes leading to a very bright, mouthwatering finish. Nicely done.
James Suckling: 90 Points
A crisp and bright gruner showing crushed stones, lemons, white flowers and sea shells on the nose. Light to medium body. Refreshing and dry. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap.
