A vanilla bean, oaked nose. Quite herbal with eucalyptus/menthol flavors. Ripe peaches and pears; long, long flavors of mango and a lemon candied finish.
Vincent & Sophie Morey Description
Always highly aromatic when young. A very graceful wine of great delicacy - elegant and well-rounded. Good cellaring potential.
Wine Spectator: 91 Points
Wild thyme and a touch of mint frame the flavors of melon, peach, lemon and baking spices in this balanced white, which loses a little steam on the finish.
Burghound: 91 Points
Here too there is a whiff of the exotic in the form of pineapple, spiced pear and white peach. The plush, delicious and attractively textured medium weight flavors exhibit a subtle bead of minerality as well as good length on the acceptably complex finale. A few years of keeping should prove beneficial though this is already sufficiently forward that it could be enjoyed young as well.
