Well rounded with a balance of rich fruits and woody tannins, the 2021 elicits boysenberry, wild strawberry, and pine needle. With essences of ripe watermelon, Rainier cherries, and vanilla, this wine is ready to be enjoyed now, or in 10 years.
Three Sticks Description
Price Family Estates Pinot Noir is our distinctive winemaker’s blend. By selecting specific grapes from our six estate vineyards, our team integrates the unique qualities of each site to create a wine that represents the variety and depth of the Three Sticks portfolio. Our team works diligently to bring the varied terroirs together into one harmonious experience. This vintage is no different - it is a beautiful representation of all Sonoma County has to offer.
Wine Enthusiast: 93 Points
The nose of this wine evokes black cherry candy, clove-studded orange peel and fried shiitake mushroom. The palate is acid driven with flavors of cherry, blackberry and dry cocoa powder mixing and mingling before a plush, textural finish. Give this wine four to five years in the cellar and it should integrate very nicely.
Wine Spectator: 93 Points
Juicy and engaging, with tension to its mix of damson plum, cherry, rose petal and iris aromas and flavors through the long, focused, racy finish.
Vinous: 91 Points
The 2022 Pinot Noir Price Family Estates is laced with crushed flowers, blood orange, spice and rose petal. It is the more floral and lifted of the two appellation-level Pinots. Bright acids pull it all together on the close.
