Once again the wood treatment is sufficiently prominent to fight somewhat with the notably ripe yet still fresh nose of cassis, black cherry and raspberry hints. The wood extends to the palate as well though the middle weight flavors retain good vibrancy before terminating in a mildly warm finish.
