Louis Jadot Nuits Saint Georges is a medium-bodied wine with a garnet color and a complex bouquet of red fruit, floral notes, and earthy spices. On the palate, this wine is well-balanced with flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long and elegant.

A moderately high-toned nose offers up notes of mostly various wild red berries, earth and a hint of wood spice. The pliant, rounded and easy-going lighter weight flavors possess good delineation and sneaky good length and the mildly rustic finale. This is definitely on the lighter side but it's still quite pretty.

Offering up aromas of sweet, smoky berry fruit mingled with notions of grilled meats and loamy soil, the 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village (Maison Louis Jadot) is medium to full-bodied, its chassis of powdery tannin largely cloaked in an appealing core of ripe, earthy fruit. As usual, this Maison cuvée is based on domaine fruit from Jadot's holdings in lieu-dit Les Charmois.
