Krug Rosé is an unexpected rosé Champagne combining elegance and boldness – inspired by the dream of the fifth generation of the House of Krug to conceive a rosé Champagne that did not exist, a rosé Champagne that could be re-created every year. Krug Rose expresses a broad palette of elegant fruit and spicy notes with astonishing breadth and depth.
James Suckling: 96 Points
Super fresh and bright with musky red fruit aromas as well as gently marzipan scented biscuits on the nose; spices all here too. Great complexity and depth, really elegant, assertive and deep. Long and even, superb depth through the finish. Great wine. Drink young and precocious.
Wine Spectator: 96 Points
A lovely, creamy rosé Champagne, seamlessly layering vivid acidity with the range of dried fig, poached apricot and Mandarin orange peel fruit notes, offering exotic accents of grilled nut, curry spice and dogwood blossom that expand and echo on the finish.

Outstanding
Medium rosé hue. A restrained and highly complex nose, that is not especially fruity, displays a moderate yeast character along with slightly exotic aromas of mandarin orange and Asian tea, all wrapped in an enveloping array of beguiling rose petal scents. There is very good richness with a relatively soft supporting mousse that adds to the impression of richness to the superbly complex and highly textured flavors, indeed one could aptly describe this as more wine that Champagne. As such this is indeed a sumptuous Krug rosé and as such, while this could be drunk now with much pleasure or held for further development; it is going to be extremely difficult to stay away from! In short this is stunningly good and should only serve to add to the mystique of this cuvée. I should note that while I am not always wowed by the Krug Rosé this latest incarnation is strikingly good.
Vinous: 94 Points
Light onion skin color. Fresh pear, strawberry and white peach scents are sharpened by notes of orange pith and smoky minerality.Juicy, tightly wound orchard and red fruit flavors show a refreshingly bitter quality and pick up weight and spiciness with air. Shows excellent clarity and power on the finish, which echoes the mineral and orange notes.
Wine Enthusiast: 94 Points
This is an onion-skin-colored wine, ripe and showing some maturity as well as rich red and citrus fruits. It is beautifully balanced, the pure, crisp fruit elegantly integrated into the lightly mineral texture. This stylish bottling is ready to drink.
