A citrus nose with notes of exotic fruits of kumquat and pink grapefruit, which end up elegantly on the palate. Precise and long, this wine represents the quintessence of Puligny-Montrachet. This wine is composed of a beautiful acidity which underlines and prolongs aromas of white peach and the long citrus finish.
Francois Carillon Description
The Puligny-Montrachet comes from four hectares of vines, spread over 8 different localities: Derrière la Velle, Reuchaux, Corvée, Levrons, Aubues, Tremblots, Noyer Bret and Rousselles. The vinification is done in the traditional Burgundian style, with fermentation taking place in small oak casks. The wine is then aged in Allier oak.

Outstanding Top value
This is more aromatically elegant still with its nose of acacia blossom, just sliced apple, mandarin orange peel and a whiff of anise. There is superb density for a villages-level Puligny with a caressing if not necessarily sophisticated mouthfeel while delivering impressive depth and persistence. This is quite satisfying and offers excellent value.
