This small Premier Cru vineyard lies at the foot of the hill of Corton. Following 5 years of negotiation, Charles Magnien finally managed to sign a 25 year lease of a sector here, this 2018 vintage being his first. Rich in colour, aromas are brightly fruity and expressive. Palate starts lively and soft, having excellent concentration and underlying mineral freshness.
Domaine Nudant Description
La Coutiere is a Premier Cru climat of the Aloxe-Corton appellation in Burgundy, just north of Beaune. This small vineyard is at the base of the Corton Grand Cru hill, home to some of Burgundy's most famous vineyards. La Coutiere has a less-favorable terroir, but wine produced from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, are good enough to warrant their Premier Cru status.
