Much more subtle wood sets off elegant, pure and airy aromas that include those of various red berries, plum and crushed fennel. The sleek and highly energetic middleweight flavors exhibit lovely delineation on the appealingly texture, long and bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. This isn't quite as complex as the Teurons but it's even finer, indeed this is a Clos des Mouches of finesse.

This firmly structured red combines tomato leaf, earth, beet and cherry flavors. A spice accent emerges as this turns leaner on the finish, showing fine intensity and length.
