This attractively textured wine ofers ripe fruits as well as great freshness. Acidity is present but does not dominate the rich, soft wine.
Domaine Anthony Girard Description
La Clef du Récit is situated in Vinon, 7 km south of Sancerre. The Estate was taken over in 2012 by Anthony Girard, a dynamic young winemaker, after having the opportunity to purchase an 8.5 hectares of first class vineyards near the small village of Récy (hence the name) in the southern part of the appellation. Today, the estate covers 16 hectares and produces Sancerre, Menetou-Salon and Quincy appellations, in the respect of the vine and the soils to find the balance reflecting the local terroir.
