The 2020 Barbaresco Cotta is a powerful, dense wine that shows the natural richness of this site, but tempered by the restrained style that runs through all these wines. Succulent red cherry, red plum, blood orange, spice. There's gorgeous depth here.

Notes of ripe cherries, ground spices and bark with hints of chocolate and dried leaves. Medium-bodied, polished and refined with a rather supple tannin structure yet with a firm, lingering finish. Try in a year or two.
