Zachlawi Description
Smells deeply of aniseed and licorice with hints of mint, smoke, and rubber tire. Entry is very anise-like, herbal and mildly sweet; at midpalate there's a slight taste of gunmetal and minerals, but then in the finish the anise turns more licorice-like and pleasantly candied. I liked this well-made, not overly sweet arak.Spicy flavors intertwine nicely with anise seed flavors and just the right amount of sweetness underneath to balance everything out.
