Tequila Ocho crafts each tequila from a single estate from the Golden Triangle of Los Altos de Jalisco. They harvest overripe agaves that are then slowly roasted in old brick ovens, fermented with natural airborne yeast, and distilled at low temperatures.
The Corralillos estate sits outside of the Highlands at 5,100 feet, the lowest altitude ever used for Ocho. Specifically chosen to explore different terroir, Corralillos is mainly flat with clayish soil, where the agave thrived in full sunlight between cattle pastures and corn fields. This plata has a fresh and citric nose with ripe pineapple and lemon juice. The palate is silky and smooth with green tea, honey, and orage peel.
