Dewar's Description
Dewar’s 12 Year Old is a double-aged Blended Scotch Whisky to be experienced. This scotch liquor delivers a smooth rich taste with notes of dried fruit, citrus and vanilla. This all-round extra smooth blend won Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. After you’ve experienced Dewar’s 12 Year Old neat, you can then go on to appreciate its more complex flavors in an Original Highball or try an Aromatic Highball, which is a rich, refreshing, sweet and herbaceous version of this now classic drink.
You can also kick the flavorful experience up a notch by pairing this oak cask whisky with delectable foods like aged Gouda cheese, mixed nuts and bread pudding. The extra years spent aging in oak casks result in richer, fuller flavors and more rounded aromas for this scotch alcohol. And of course, it has Dewar’s legendary smooth character. Simply put, Dewar's 12 Year Old is aged, blended and aged again. The extra step provides greater balance and smoothness.

Editor's Choice
Now double-aged in first-fill bourbon casks, this is a zinger. Bright aromas of honey, caramel, dried apricot and apple slice, mixed peel, malt, roasted spices, rich vanilla, and an imprint of woodsmoke. Silky-smooth flavors of honey, warm citrus, black pepper, dark chocolate, and a lick of smoke, then vanilla, burnt toffee, black cherry, espresso, soft oak, and a finish of milk chocolate and hazelnut latte. An outstanding blend. No. 4 in Top 20 of 2022.

Best Buy
Possibly one of the best-balanced whiskies around—which is what blending is all about—this honey-hued Scotch measures out fruit, smoke, oak and spice. The fresh, enticing scent incorporates fresh apple, orange peel and milky caramel. On the palate, light smokiness up front gives way to more vanilla and fruit, winding into the long baking-spice finish.
