Bardstown Description
The Discovery Series showcases the art of blending hand-selected, supremely aged bourbon. For each release, team members throughout the distillery taste, analyze, and vote on the best recipe. It is a celebration of our collaborative spirit, working together to create something unique and spectacular.
A burst of vanilla, cedar, and candied orange evolves into dark chocolate and black cherry with floral accents. A bold, balanced and ringing finish completes this one-of-a kind cask strength blend.
Whisky Advocate: 91 Points
A blend of three bourbons—7, 11, and 17 years old—for a layered whiskey bursting with flavor. The nose is rich and chocolaty, with banana, honey bun, and toasted oats. There's a lovely blend of lavender, lilac, and mint singing harmony. The palate is honeyed, with semi-sweet chocolate, berry compote, and ample baking spices. The finish is strong, with long-lasting candied orange and spicy honey.
