Quinta dos Murças Minas comes from vineyards planted on a hillside at altitudes ranging from 110 to 300 metres where south-facing vineyards produce more highly concentrated grapes. These same slopes are graced with several natural springs, which refresh the area and help maintain a balance between greater ripening and the characteristic Murças freshness.

The 2022 Murças Minas is a lovely, bright, and fresh red wine from Douro. Despite its dense, inky purple color, the wine is very bright and lifting. Broody blackberry, licorice, and lavender waft from the glass, followed by herbal hints of game. The medium-bodied palate is juicy, bright, and focused, with a myriad of black and red fruit leading to a lively, almost electric finish.
