Chateau de Chamilly has a long history in Burgundy that dates back to the 17th century. This long tradition of winemaking is more than evident in this beautiful white wine! Made from 35 year old vines, Les Bassets displays a pale gold color in the glass and an expressive bouquet of white fruit and honeysuckle. These notes echo on the palate and are met by hints of pear and zippy minerality. The finish is clean and crisp, with the refreshing character of a brisk Chablis but with the texture and complexity of an exceptionally fine white Burgundy.

The 2023 Montagny Les Bassets is fuller-bodied than previous vintages, lending presence and backbone to this traditonally austere and zesty white. Pale gold in color, it presents aromas of green apple, cream, white pepper, and a touch of smoke. The palate is fllush with juicy apple and nectarine notes, leading to a long, mouthwatering finish. Delicious.
